The color-reduced view of the Rhine is an example of Axel Hütte's characteristic spatial concept, which in the mid-1990s switched to changing the view into the depths in favor of a strong surface composition.

lives and works in Düsseldorf and Berlin (* 1951 in Essen).

Education
Studied at the Düsseldorf Art Academy in the class of Prof. Bernd Becher.
