In Julian Radlmaier's comedy ‹Selbstkritik eines bürgerlichen Hundes› (Germany 2017, 99 min.) we find the motif of a left intellectual artist, who wants to place his art in the revolutionary movements of his time. But he doesn't know exactly how to do this. Radlmaier also discusses a few ongoing left-leaning debates in his film in a completely nonchalant way, such as what a post-capitalist society could look like and what role art would play in it.
Admission to the event including exhibition 5 Euro, reduced 3 Euro. Holders of a festival ticket ‹Den Bogen spannen - 100 Jahre Darmstädter Sezession› have free admission.
The film will be shown in German language.
