Graham Harrison was born in 1955 in west of England and studied photography at the London College of Printing. He worked as an analogue photographer for British Vogue, the Telegraph Sunday Magazine and the British Museum before turning to writing about photography for his Photo Histories web site. His essays include ‹The History Men: Helmut Gernsheim and Nicephore Niepce› and ‹Tony Ray-Jones and the Lyrical Origin of Parrworld›.
Ralph Goertz, born 1970 in Krefeld, studied Theatre and Film in Bochum and Cultural Management in Lucerne/Zurich. In 2009 he founded the Institute for Art Documentation (IKS) in Duesseldorf. Goertz works as a filmmaker and curator for contemporary photography. In 2011 he received the Delphic Art Movie Award for his documentary ‹Robert Mapplethorpe. Shapes›. His major field in photography is German, British and American Photography since the 1960s.
