The exhibition ‹Gran Palazzo› offers the opportunity to view a selection of about 70 artworks curated by the artist herself side by side. In the daylight-filled art hall, the delicately colored oil painting on canvas will be able to unfold its full effect. Thanks to the willingness to lend from some collectors abroad, several of the large linocuts will also be on display, which resolve the antagonism of objectivity and abstraction. Motif migrations from one medium to another will be comprehensible based on the exhibits. Especially for the occasion of the exhibition, a temporary mural is being created in the glass hall of the art hall, which is open to the city, enlarging a section from a small oil painting and thus demonstrating the concept of interpictoriality, which is important for Immekus’ working method.
