In his exhibition «Mediterranea», Harm Gerdes presents paintings created over the last five years, which maintain an equal distance between abstraction and figuration, thus striking out in a new direction. In conversation with Kunsthalle director León Krempel, he reveals something about his special technique and his conception of art.
