From 27 September 2026 to 10 January 2027, the Kunsthalle Darmstadt will be presenting the Amsterdam-based multimedia artist Hilarius Hofstede to a wider audience in Germany for the first time.

Around 100 works on paper and specially conceived spatial installations are brought together in a multi-layered exhibition dedicated to questions of vulnerability, care and psychological disposition. ‘Courant Van Gogh’ initiates an intense dialogue with Vincent van Gogh and confronts him with the current state of the world.

On this evening, we are also celebrating the openings of the exhibitions by Heide Nord and Anna Vovan in Studio West, as well as that by Wolfgang F. Klee in Studio East.
