From 26 September 2026 to 10 January 2027, the Kunsthalle Darmstadt will be presenting new works by Heide Nord and Anna Vovan at Studio West.

This site-specific installation explores the phenomenon of indeterminate signals, ranging from atmospheric data from weather satellites to everyday mementoes. Through a multi-layered interplay of image, sound, light and other materials, it examines the question of what remains audible and visible when signals are disrupted, language fails to convey its intended meaning, or recordings leave more to the imagination.

This evening, we are celebrating the simultaneous openings of the exhibitions by Hilarius Hofstede and Wolfgang F. Klee at Studio Ost.
