40 paintings, an equal number of poems, and more than a dozen musical audio samples: Under the title ‹Eingebrannt›, the Kunsthalle Darmstadt offers insights into the artistic output of the former GDR. The exhibition is a collaboration with the Center for New Literature and the International Music Institute Darmstadt (IMD). For the first time, it publicly displays Gerhard Richter’s early work ‹Lesende (Ema)›.
Accompanying events every Thursday evening.
