The Kunsthalle Darmstadt and the BDA Hessen invite you to an open dialogue between art and architecture. The occasion is the two current exhibitions ‹Entsorgte Moderne› with works by Maike Häusling and Katja von Puttkamer, and ‹Große Häuser, kleine Häuser› by the BDA Hessen, which shows 37 awarded Hessian buildings of the last five years. The Association of German Architects is committed to caring more for the stock of buildings, preserving, renovating, converting and reinterpreting them in order to preserve the energy stored in them. The two artists are more concerned with a look at the everyday and the possibilities of discovering aesthetic qualities in the supposedly ordinary and thus opening the way to unlock cultural values in the stock.
With the artists Maike Häusling, Katja von Puttkamer, the director of the Kunsthalle León Krempel and Christian Holl, managing director of the BDA Hessen (moderation).
