From March 30 to June 29, 2025, Kunsthalle Darmstadt, in collaboration with the Center for New Literature Darmstadt and the International Music Institute Darmstadt, presents a unique exhibition on the art scene of the GDR. The exhibition, titled ‹Eingebrannt›, brings together painting, poetry, and new music from approximately 90 artists who were active between 1949 and 1989 in a groundbreaking cross-genre showcase. ‹Eingebrannt› reveals fascinating interconnections and invites visitors to explore and experience them. As part of the accompanying program, several artists will share their insights as eyewitnesses.
