‹Super!› is a group exhibition featuring five young female painters. The artists deliberately trust in the clarity of painting, its physical-sensory presence, and buck the trend towards immersion by offering the opportunity of contemplation. They share not only the passion for their medium, but also a common generational background. Born in the 1980s, they have spent their childhood and youth during the boom years of the 1990s and shortly after the turn of the millennium, a time when everything was still «smashing» and «super cool» infected day-to-day life with constant optimism. Despite the different painting styles, a similar mood can be seen in the works of the artists, which is sometimes inspired by the popular culture of these decades.

An edition and a catalogue will be published for the exhibition.

The opening will be followed-up by a party. Playing at both events are Aprill and Tune City. Please note that only a limited number of seats are available. Admission is free.
